Campers choose the majority of their activities from a menu of options including sports, crafts, swimming, canoeing, drama, outdoor games, creative play and much more. Each day also features an extended activity period especially designed to bring the cabin group together forming bonds of friendship through fun, speically planned activities. Each day begins with a non-denominational chapel in a redwood grove above the river and ends with a rousing campfire where the camp community comes together to celebrate the day. As campers share songs and skits on stage, they can hear their voices echo back at them from the river valley. Each session is highlighted by an overnight campout at our outdoor campsites, sleeping under the stars and cooking over the campfire, making for an unforgettable experience.
Camp Ravencliff is located along the scenic Eel River in the town of Redway, California in Southern Humboldt County. Our rustic camp facility features cabins with bunks that house up to eight campers, one or two teen leaders (CILT) and one adult camp counselor. While cabins don't have electricity, the centrally located restrooms have electricty, flush toilets and hot showers. Campers enjoy 3 healthy meals each day and always have fruit available for snacks.
